Ms. Ngoc also appreciated that in recent years, Central Group has made many contributions to bringing Vietnamese products to its supermarket system in Vietnam, Thailand and some other countries. "The Ministry of Industry and Trade highly appreciates Central Group's support to Vietnamese exporters from capacity building, product quality, design and packaging through business trainings to connecting businesses. with the product purchasing department, "Ms. Ngoc added. 
The statistics of import and export turnover between the two countries in 2018 showed that Vietnam's exports to Thailand accounted for more than 20% of Vietnam's total exports to 9 ASEAN countries; Vietnam's imports from Thailand account for nearly 40% of imports from the region. 
In the first 7 months of 2019, the total import-export turnover between the two countries reached US $ 10.2 billion, up 6.6% over the same period in 2018. In particular, Vietnam's export turnover to Thailand reached approximately 3.2 billion USD, increasing by 1.5%; Vietnam's import turnover from Thailand reached US $ 7 billion, up 9.2% over the same period in 2018.
"Thailand is currently Vietnam's largest trade partner in ASEAN," said the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
